What you’ll do:

• Management of Sky’s workload automation services across multiple environments (including 1st/2nd line support)
• Provide excellent communication both verbal and online to all support teams, 3rd party vendors and Stakeholders
• Support IT system code deployments
• Perform maintenance of key Customer Management systems
• Always uphold internal and regulatory processes and Sky core values (PCI etc)
• Identify and recommend actions to improve process to promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and ensure all relevant documentation is kept up to date
• Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships across and outside of Sky

What you’ll bring:

• Experience using Control–M or a similar Workload Automation package/software, including systems monitoring and batch service management.
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Proven track record in an IT environment and experience working with large-scale systems
• You will always have your eye on the ball with the ability to quickly identify and rectify problems
• Working knowledge of system monitoring tools, such as HP OpenView or equivalent
• A basic understanding of UNIX
