A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Data Intelligence and Analysis - Practice Support team provides PwC a series of organisational technology capabilities that include business intelligence, data management, data warehouse, and data assurance. You’ll help with projects that involve information technology strategy and infrastructure, enterprise architecture, enterprise applications, large scale programme and portfolio management, information technology security, data analytics, computer forensics, and emerging technologies like cloud, mobility and social networking.

This is a newly formed team that will leverage data to rapidly discover, quantify, and deliver through intelligent analytics and scalable end-to-end business solutions. Working initially across the domains of Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Human Capital, the group will help drive analytics adoption across the Firm, accelerating value delivery, developing in-house talent, and building solutions and trust in data-driven decision making.

What you’ll create and do

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Architecting and supporting Microsoft Azure Solutions across multiple technologies to meet team’s specific requirements within a larger IT environment

Implementation and Delivery of Microsoft Azure projects and changes

Providing Microsoft Azure architecture collaboration with broader IT function

Documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and setup) for further understanding, use and approval by security and risk teams

Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team

Administer configuration of all software services into various different environments within Azure

Supervise all application packing processes and maintain optimal quality for application

Analyze all platform level changes and monitor impact as well as provide appropriate technical solutions to resolve all issues efficiently

Provide an efficient interface with various team members and provide appropriate technical support to ensure minimal loss of service for the team

Manage and prepare reports for all automate processes deployments on various systems

Design various configuration policies for all Active Directory and develop all queries

What you’ll bring to this role

Azure certifications in platform engineering or related fields

Experience working with analytical platforms and environments of large companies

Has worked extensively in large scale platform maintenance and support

Direct experience of enterprise solution shaping and Microsoft Azure Cloud deployment architecture development including excellent documentation skills

Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, and security technologies in cloud environments

Persistence such as RDBMS/NoSQL data stores and appropriate use cases

Big Data technologies including Azure Cosmos DB and Kubernetes Services

Cloud data solutions such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory

Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services

Ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders as required to meet strategic objectives

Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead deep technical discussions with solution architects, and senior stakeholders across PwC global network and internally, as well as with customers at all levels of an organization to understand and solve complex business and technology problems

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose and implement improvements and fixes within the platform

Evaluates solutions to ensure that they are in alignment with PwC's mission, strategy / objectives, capabilities, and processes
