A career in our Data and Analytics Hub (“D&A Hub”) within PwC’s Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to combine consulting and industry expertise with data science capabilities. We use descriptive and predictive analytical techniques to incorporate internal, third-party, and proprietary data to help answer questions and design solutions to our most pressing business issues. This is a newly formed team that will leverage data to rapidly discover, quantify, and deliver through intelligent analytics and scalable end-to-end business solutions. Working initially across the domains of Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Human Capital, the group will help drive analytics adoption across the Firm, accelerating value delivery, developing in-house talent, and building solutions and trust in data-driven decision making.

What you’ll create and do

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Lead projects largely focused on developing and executing on internal Data Architecture requirements in Azure Cloud environments

Create deployment and modernization strategies for enterprise-wide digital transformations, particularly for the transition of legacy data to new systems and platforms

Develop, and guide the implementation of enterprise data integration approaches for master data, third-party data, and analytics

Develop data architecture and/or solution architecture diagrams and evolution roadmaps, which are understandable by both business and technical stakeholders

Collaborate across multiple product and project teams, to review business processes and guide the creation of data dictionaries, data flow documentation, and data integration requirements and plans

Guide the architecture design for enterprise data models, taxonomy, data quality, data interoperability, data lake and data warehouse and analytics capabilities in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders

What you’ll bring to this role

An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

Azure/Google Cloud Platform certifications (Data Architect) required

Significant experience working with databases and data architecture of large companies

Has worked extensively in large scale data modelling and implementation with hands-on experience

Strong experience in data architecture and design

Understanding of implementation of architecture within Azure and AWS

Big Data / Analytics / AI tools; 

Persistence such as RDBMS/NoSQL data stores and appropriate use cases; 

Containerization, and experience in using Docker and/or Kubernetes.

Azure/Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services certifications (Data Architect) preferred

Organizational and leadership skills

Able to effectively lead large technical teams and oversee complex data models

Strong understanding of data strategy

Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead deep technical discussions with solution architects, and senior stakeholders across PwC global network and internally

Provide mentorship to junior data team on underlying data models and the creation of data architect
