Job Description

The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer executes the maintenance program on assigned Toll Helicopters rotary wing aircraft, and undertakes repairs, inspections, adjustments, data interrogation/ analysis, fault finding and reconfigurations to ensure safe and reliable aircraft operations in support of our Defence customer. This position also implements aircraft husbandry and corrosion control programs to preserve the longevity of the aircraft fleet.

The role will involve occasional periods away from the main operating base to support Customer deployed operations, aircraft recovery and to assist our maintenance teams at other Toll Helicopters bases throughout NSW, ACT and QLD.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Aircraft mechanical trade experience, with a current CASR Part 66 B1.3 Type rating on a medium (twin engine) helicopter
• Completed MEA40711 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or military equivalent (as amended)
• Extensive experience maintaining twin engine helicopters (AW139 desired)
• Current Australian Drivers License Ã‚·        
• Eligible for NV1 security clearance
