Role Overview

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Aviation Security Officer to join the G4S team securing the premises of one of our new aviation facilities in Farnborough. We need someone with a strong customer service background, as this role is predominantly client facing.

You will deal with high end clients and vendors at the facility, so you will be the first person visitors meet on arrival so this role is key to creating a professional and friendly atmosphere - from ensuring the reception area is presentable, to assisting with refreshments and ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. The role will require you to also perform ad hoc security duties too

The role requires flexibility and operates on a days, nights and weekends shift pattern.

Other duties include:

• General meet and greet services

• Booking of office space for customers, vendors and suppliers. 

• Production of visitor passes for customers arriving on site.

• Office space areas are correctly laid out for customers. 

• Printing requests are managed for customers.

• Liaison with customers on local travel.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience, however it’s not essential, as we provide full Aviation Security training.
