Automotive SW Architect

THE ROLE:

• As part of AMD Embedded System Architecture team, own Automotive Software stack definition that must be supported by products targeted for Automotive segment (IVI, ADAS)
• Own Automotive SW roadmap definition across product generations
• Work with vertical marketing, product team to identify key vertical SW segments that need enablement / support
• Support customer / ISV enablement
• Support engineering teams by providing high-level designs, use-cases and assist prioritizing features to work with core AMD SW team (RTG)
• Support debug / analysis of customer issues owned by customer support team
• Own prototypes specific to Automotive segment and run them via internal R&D / Engineering teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Automotive SW stack owner for AMD products
• Work with different SW groups to enable identified SW stack

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 18-20 years experience with strong experience in full stack development (Application/Android/Linux/driver/kernel/BSP)
• Experience in Automotive IVI or ADAS stack
• Experience in Android - Drivers, HAL layer and Application framework along with any experience in Multimedia, Display, Graphics
• Experience with Android Auto is a plus
• Experience with kernel development, real-time kernel, BSP, firmware is a plus
• Machine learning experience / knowledge is a must. Specifically Inference – TF2/PyTorch/ONNX/TVM
• GPU programming knowledge is a plus - OpenCL/CUDA (preferred) or Vulkan/OpenGL/DirectX
• Strong in C/C++/Python languages
• Strong in Data Structures and Algorithms

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• BE / B.Tech (CS/EEE/ECE) from premier institutes
• MS / M.Tech from premier institutes is a big plus
