The Information Systems and Technology (IST) Group delivers information systems, technology and communications services, guidance and strategic direction to the Parliamentary Service, its clients, and partnering parliamentary precinct agencies, encouraging and facilitating the appropriate application of IST to business operations.

Mō te tÅ«nga - About the role:

The Automation Tester works closely with IST Delivery team and more important with Test Lead and Senior Test Analysts in the group to ensure all Applications test scripts are Automated using Smart Bear tool.

The Automation Tester works with the Manager IST Delivery and Rest of Delivery team to plan, scope and involve in all initiatives.

Ngā haepapa - Responsibilities will include the following:

• Maintain all Automation Test scripts up to date for all Apps across Parliamentary Service and Office of the Clerk
• Work with other team members to promote automation testing and help the team members as needed
• Collaborate and work with the team for test sign off document and quality of product after running the automation suit created for the project
• Participate in all scrum meetings and planning for backlog

Tō kete - What you will bring to the role:

• An appropriate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or a recognised certification
• Relevant experience working in a similar or same role
• 3-5 years testing experience in automation testing space
• Expertise and a good understanding of testing methods and techniques
• Strong oral and written communication skills
