New Year, New Challenge: Are you a highly motivated Automation Engineer looking for a new and exciting challenge? Then Sky’s Platform Assurance Contact Technology functional test team is the place for you. In return for helping us to deliver an exciting Programme of work you will be given the opportunity to develop and grow your skills.

What you’ll do:

• Grow as part of the Platform Assurance test team in the Contact Technology field.
• Use exciting development tools, such as Empirix.
• Work in an Agile methodology environment, following Scrum / Kanban.
• Design, build and support automated tests, ensuring effective test coverage.
• Work with BA’s, dev and test teams, ensuring full E2E functional test coverage.
• Participate in planning and estimation, contributing on how to maximise test benefits.
• Ensure test best practice, through continual improvements and adherence to standards.

What you’ll bring:

• Expertise in delivering automated tests in a complex technology platforms.
• Expertise in Java, Maven, Selenium, Rest Assured and Cucumber.
• Experience in tools such as IntelliJ, Jenkins, Git and Jira.
• Experience of working with agile methodologies, Scrum / Kanban.
• Experience working in a team or on own.
• Ability to communicate progress and issues.
