We're now recruiting for a passionate and motivated Relationship Manager to be responsible for the full end to end proposition of our Card Acquiring and Payments products to meet our customers’ needs. In this client facing role you'll have a national remit, looking after 70 of our Tier 1 accounts within Cardnet and will act as a subject matter expert for both customers and colleagues.

The role:


In the SME and Mid Corporates Client Relationship  team we provide a first-class F2F relationship service enabling our customers to meet their ever changing requirements for accepting payments. Cardnet is a joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and Fiserv and is our card payment acceptance service. We help businesses to take payments in person, online and over the phone


We're now recruiting for a passionate and motivated Relationship Manager to be responsible for the full end to end proposition of our Card Acquiring and Payments products to meet our customers’ needs. In this client facing role you'll have a national remit, looking after 70 of our Tier 1 accounts within Cardnet and will act as a subject matter expert for both customers and colleagues.


What you'll be doing:

  • Act as a source of professional expertise and have principal accountability for a client portfolio to meet customer needs 
  • Manage the revenue and cost drivers and measuring the portfolio performance against KPIs. Determine pricing, sales and marketing plans, ensuring that benefits in terms of customer satisfaction and financial targets are realised.
  • Establish and build relationships with stakeholders & customers to manage their multiple needs and to ensure the delivery of customer solutions. Support customer pipeline development with Coverage and Sales teams
  • Identify and effectively manage the key risk components of the end to end relationship and escalate where required
  • Adhere fully to product governance requirements to ensure compliance.


What we'll need from you:

  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Acquiring Payments experience
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
