Key Responsibilities
• As an Associate Director you will take the lead on a variety of complex analyses, across a range of client sectors and asset classes, used in the development of client focused real estate asset and portfolio strategies
• You will be responsible for the management of client stakeholders throughout the duration of all client engagements
• You will prepare and / or provide executive oversight on detailed financial (P&L / Cash Flow) and other data analysis for a range of client deliverables including metro, country and regional portfolio plans, portfolio diagnostic and portfolio transformation activities
• You will lead the preparation of client facing comprehensive and actionable deliverables ensuring alignment with key stakeholder principles and governance requirements
• You will actively monitor, advise and drive insight on relevant emerging market, sector and other relevant trends and best practices to support the on-going evolution of the Portfolio Strategy team
• You will work closely with other members of the CBRE Advisory & Transactions team, including Location & Talent Advisory, Supply Chain, Workplace, Occupancy Planning, Change Management, Transaction Management, Capital Projects and Capital Markets, both nationally and internationally, as well as brokerage and property and facility management
Person Specification/Requirements
• To be considered for this role you must have experience of working in a strategic / analytic role previously
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams in conducting data analysis and real estate due diligence
• Excellent internal and external client relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to create value
• Ability to support and motivate team members, leadership and respond to client deadlines
• Ability to understand client requirements and problem solve to deliver tailored strategic deliverables for large and / or small projects / programmes
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set and achieve project deadlines and manage client expectations
• Highly numerate including expert problem solving and analytical skills, with sound understanding of cash flow, balance sheet and application of IFRS; must have a practical working knowledge of financial terms and principles
• Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work and communicate with stakeholders at all levels and geographies across internal and external teams
• Ability to work independently and self-solution via internal and external resources
• Strong report writing and client facing skills are integral to the role. Advanced skill level of usual Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• An active and inquisitive mind is important to develop our client propositions
• Experience of the Real Estate sector is of benefit, but NOT essential
