With our diverse and experienced team across the globe, we deliver asset financing and optimisation solutions, providing access to capital as well as advice around build to suit financing, monetisation (sale & leasebacks) and asset re-positioning for portfolios or strategic single assets. We achieve this through our ability to raise equity, debt or structured finance and to provide strategic advice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join the EMEA Corporate Capital Markets (CCM) business, driving the reach and further expansion of the existing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a lead in transaction projects and manage activities within the team, and across service lines 
• Support senior members in the team with advice on complex real estate financing transactions
• Support CCM’s internal profile within the UK and European businesses 
• In the short to medium term, become seen as lead team contact for clients
• Help to broaden and develop wider team members’ capabilities 

Person Specification/Requirements

• Client facing
• Proactivity – self-motivated with a desire to succeed
• Investment transaction experience (experience of advising occupiers on sale and leasebacks preferred but not a pre-requisite)
• Development funding / forward funding experience (preferred but not a pre-requisite)
• Experience of operating in different European markets, either through leasing or capital markets
• Numerate, with understanding of cash flow, balance sheet and P&L 
• Ability to quickly interpret financial models and related outputs to identify opportunities 
• Able to develop creative solutions for clients 
• Good understanding of real estate 
• Successful experience of executing real estate transactions 
• Track record of working with occupiers & managing these relationships
