What you'll do:

• Work with experienced DevOps/SRE’s to support highly available systems running on-premises and in public cloud.
• Work with and support teams of experienced Java and Python developers working on multiple projects building and deploying code to multiple production and non-production environments.
• Develop your skills working with AWS, with certificated training available.
• Contribute to design discussion to ensure the department builds secure & reliable systems.
• Interest and Experience of DevOps/SRE practices from academic study/initial work experience in a Technology environment. 
• Technical experience from Education or work experience on IT, Technical Systems Architecture and DevOps/SRE. 
• Experience and/or interest in release management, CI/CD and ability to support a range of systems. 
• Knowledge and/or interest in of Agile Development approaches such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing.

What you'll bring:

• Developing in Python or another common language
• Understanding of System administration on Linux 
• Experience deploying applications to a cloud service such as AWS
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn from Development and DevOps Engineering teams. 
• Ability to pick up tasks after appropriate demonstration and training. 
• Problem solving and ability to offer solutions and opinions to resolve issues.
