What you'll do

  • Collaborate closely with product owners and partners to review acceptance criteria and specifications and perform a range of behavioural driven development (BDD) activities
  • Be the gatekeeper for quality of software into production
  • Define and create new automation test scripts and chip in towards the creation and update of the Automation Test Strategy
  • Assist in removing technical impediments encountered by the team
  • Attend, contribute and where appropriate, deputise within Agile ceremonies
  • Assist the team to produce general-purpose documentation


What you'll bring:

  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of testing and experience in functional testing
  • Design and development experience of test automation frameworks, such as, TestCafe
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, Python or Java
  • Experience working with Version control tools
  • An appreciation for non-functional requirements/testing (performance, security, accessibility)
  • Knowhow of the key values and principles of Agile, including purpose of ceremonies and Agile estimating and planning

Where you'll work:
Leeds:

Our spacious tech hub is under a mile away from Leeds train station, with free water taxis available from Granary Wharf. There’s also plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.

You can also blow off steam over a game of pool or table tennis, and stay fit at our subsidised gym.
