About Barnardo's
At Barnardo's we believe in children – no matter who they are, what they have done or what they have been through. Please read about our basis and values following the link below. You will be asked questions relating to them as part of the recruitment process for this role.
Barnardo's is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce for staff and volunteers. We actively encourage applications from disabled, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic and male candidates as they are under-represented within Barnardo's.
Barnardo's Children's Services in Rotherham are looking to recruit 2 As and When Assistant Project Workers to join our skilled and dedicated practitioners as part of our Transformational Fund Project.
The Transformational Fund is a Home Office funded project intended to promote and disseminate best practice in the provision of support to help children and young people cope with and recover from sexual abuse, to improve the quality of support available and to build understanding of what works to support children who have experienced sexual abuse.
The project will work to achieve that objective through co-designing and delivering support to Muslim children, young people and families living in Rotherham.
Please note that this post is funded until the ned of March 2021. However, we have a strong indication that work will continue beyond that date and we are therefore confident of achieving future funding.
