Role Summary:

This is a shift-based entry level planning role reporting to the Military AFM Production Control Lead. Working with the senior Flight production controller this person will be responsible for ensuring new & used material availability to support delivery of customer requirements in line with Plan.

Key Accountabilities:

• Understand forecast / planned Customer demand
• Manage Lines of Balance for each product delivery
• Manage work order release in line with Build requirement.
• Manage escalation process when a deviation from plan occurs.
• Management of Engineering change introduction, product transfer and Entry into Service.
• Working with operators, production schedules, materials and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to all Customers.
• Communication of all customer delivery commitments.

Measures of success:

• Customer OTD: Spares & MRO
• First time kit rate
• Inventory optimisation

Basic Qualifications & Person Specification:

• Good influencing skills and ability to cope under pressure.
• Proven record of problem solving and driving issues to conclusion
• Responsive to change working in an environment of continuous improvement.
• Preferable knowledge of SAP, Excel and other digital tools.
• Highly motivated and analytical with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Supportive of ACE/AIM
