Assistant Digital Activation Manager - LDF 

L'Oréal Designer Fragrances (LDF) comprises of a portfolio of 10 brands split across two marketing divisions. The Lifestyle & Niche brands includes the likes of Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Diesel and Maison Margiela whilst the Couture brands include Mugler, Prada, Valentino and Viktor&Rolf. 

LDF has grown significantly over the past few years, thanks to tactical acquisitions, successful product launches and strategic brand activations. It’s an exciting time to be joining this fast-paced, digital-first team. 

Supporting the Senior Digital Activation Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to plan and implement omni-channel digital activation strategies across a wide range of e-retailers while accelerating and optimizing the consumer experience.

With a continued focus on driving brand awareness and recruiting new, you will activate brand and product campaigns with a consumer-centric and data-led approach. Your results and learnings will be shared and integrated in future campaigns and you will partner with the wider team to continuously raise the bar in digital to deliver improved customer journeys and engagement.

This role with repot into the Senior Digital Activation Manager and will have daily support from a Digital Marketing Apprentice.

ASSISTANT DIGITAL ACTIVATION MANAGER, L’OREAL DESIGNER FRAGRANCES

You will

• Support the SDAM to deliver digital activation excellence across direct and indirect digital touchpoints, across all LDF brand and product campaigns, by implementing an integrated and engaging brand experience via consumer-centric content & services (user experience, best in class PDPs, product geography, relevant content, SEO, tools, sampling, rate & reviews).    

• Project manage the delivery of LDF online trade tools (e.g. GWPs, online wrap packs) by forecasting, handling creation and distributing to relevant online activations.

• Ownership of digital activation plans with select retailer campaigns with samples, GWP’s, rich content to enrich the consumer experience on all touchpoints including CRM, online services, social and in-store digital touchpoints. 

• Manage the tracking and reporting of brand and product campaigns with select retailers with focus on sharing tangible learnings for future activations.

• Work with retailer digital teams to deliver the materials and tools needed to ensure the success of the online consumer journey and address retailer and consumer experience across all touch points.

• With PM alignment, create and deliver bespoke retailer social packs. Work with PR and Marketing to provide/ develop content based on consumer needs & trends. 

• Ownership of Mugler’s organic social media via Sprinklr and support with SEO, affiliate marketing and content creation for Mugler with specific focus on D2C activations.

• Project manage all the third-party sampling campaigns in collaboration with SDAM, NAMs, PMs, DEC & Media Manager.

• Manage The Perfume Society project as LDF point of contact.

• Support wider LDF team with new distribution launches and digital activations for new retailers. 

• With support from Digital Marketing Apprentice, lead delivery of monthly reports showcasing best-in-class digital activation across LDF brands, e-retailers and competitors.

• Represent the Digital Activation team in conversations with the wider team (Marketing, NAMs, PR, Digital, CMO) and ensure continuous upskilling of wider team.  

• Place consumer insights at the heart of your work to improve our omni-channel experience, as well as proposing new initiatives to drive online /offline purchases. Use keyword research, website data, business priorities and industry topics to influence strategy, in partnership with the wider team. 

• Assist with day-to-day tasks supporting all digital launches including tool management (Edge, Opera and Salsify), audits and adhoc asset creations.

You have

• Digital-first thinking, ideally with experience working with industry tools to evaluate performance (Hitwise, GA,  EDGE/Clavis, etc.)

• Interest  in creating high quality, on-brand content for social & e-business platforms

• Some experience in forecasting, market tools and in logistics management (ex. Sharepoint, Optimise, Boost, NPD)

• Highly organised together with the ability to prioritise and adapt within a changing environment

• Creative thinker with a track record in providing solutions to business problems

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong analytical ability and proven project management experience

• Interest in social platform with an understanding of social trends and KPI reporting (e.g. Engagement Rate)

 

• Strong communication skills, with an articulate manner 

• Great relationship building skills and the ability to network at all levels

• The ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines

• Energetic and enthusiastic with a team spirit

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 

• Commercial sensitivity
