We are currently seeking a talented and passionate professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Development Manager - Non-retail to provide support to the Non-Retail Development team in undertaking day to day functions

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Helping identify and secure new sites that meet network requirements.
  • Preparing draft feasibility studies.
  • Coordinating due diligence inquiries and correspondence.
  • Assisting with preparation of legal documents such as Consultancy Agreements, Options, Purchase Contracts and Lease Agreements. 
  • Assisting in the development of a strategy on a project.
  • Preparing programmes to identify critical tasks and ensure timely delivery.
  • Engaging and managing consultant teams.
  • Coordinating the preparation, lodgement and process of Development and Planning Applications.
  • Responding to Council Requests For Information.
  • Raising of Purchase Orders and processing of Tax Invoices.
  • Preparation and updating of Cost Reports.
  • Preparing draft Property Committee Meeting (PCM) and Project Control Group (PCG) documentation.
  • Assistance with internal approvals and reporting.
  • Assist the Project Manager with appointment and management of the builder.
  • Ensure project completion in line with Wow and Planning approvals.
  • Assist with marketing and disposal of completed assets.

 

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 3-5 years experience and a knowledge in some or all of the following areas:

  • Financial modelling and commercial property feasibility models
  • State and local planning policies and how they apply to specific developments
  • Various legal structures and documents (option, purchase, sale, AFL, Lease etc)
  • MS Project
  • Core industrial property design principles
  • Project Management
