Our Federal Government Client, is looking for a Application Software Architect to provide architecting, coding and documenting User Interface requirements for the OHIS-MAR solution. Architect must design, code and document, each API interface in scope for the OHIS-MAR project.

Tasks: 

• Architecture of the DevOps processes to be used by all OHIS developers
• Provide technical leadership, advice and guidance to OHIS developers
• Design of Configuration Management processes
• Design of required custom applications to support business processes
• Create specifications for tooling to be used by developers
• Provide Code Reviews and facilitate prototyping
• API Modeling and design based on OpenAPI using Swagger and the Git store
• Perform Workplan assessments and provide input to the Project Executive and Technical Authority
• Coordinate product deployment processes
• Facilitate emergency changes
• Create DevOPs Automation Pipeline for OHIS application
• Create Prototype code as proof of viability of architecture proposals
• Establish continuous performance metrics/KPI Reports based on the established team schedule
• Review technical assessments, make recommendations, prepare reports and documents, which outline and detail all technical recommendations

Qualifications

• Must have a University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• More than ten (10) years of experience as a Application/Software Architect
• Experience working with cloud platform, Javascript development frameworks, REST API, SSL, TLS, Docker containers, Linux hosting environments, MySQL, JWT, .NET and/or MEAN stack (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node) application
• Experience working with ServerLess DB/PouchDB, auto-update applications, OpenAPI/Oauth2, barcode devices, mobile clients
