Join us as an API Growth Manager

What you'll do

In this key role, you’ll be planning and managing the delivery of projects across the function and sharing progress updates on roadmaps and MI with the business. You’ll be tracking projects against budget, making sure key milestones are met and stakeholders are kept updated, and helping to identify and deliver automation and efficiency opportunities across the function.

In addition to this, you’ll be:

• Liaising with key stakeholders, external suppliers and other strategic partners
• Engaging with team heads across the business to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies using appropriate processes and tools
• Helping to manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including our Technology function, technology vendors, legal providers and consultancy firms
• Making sure that supplier relationships are managed in accordance with governance requirements

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with project and budget management experience, together with a track record of delivery. You'll have the ability to leverage and build networks to influence and persuade colleagues from other teams to support our agenda.

While we don't need you to have prior knowledge of APIs or Open Banking, you'll need to bring a willingness to learn new technical concepts and an ability to sound credible in front of technical colleagues.

You’ll also need:

• Strong knowledge of the business and its risk, project and governance processes
• An understanding of the commercial opportunities associated with Open Banking
• The ability to drive the delivery of major projects by owning day-to-day relationships with multiple teams, and keeping them on track and on time
• The ability to influence stakeholders and manage vendors
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complicated issues into clear and concise stories and write these into slides
