What will you be doing?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about code, data, and digital technology to deepen their experience with digital analytics and marketing platforms in one of the UK's largest online retailers.

• Consult with product teams, insight analysts, data scientists, marketing team to gather measurement requirements and translate these into a documented technical implementation guide

• Develop, customize and troubleshoot JavaScript analytics tracking code to ensure tracking is working correctly

• Proactively review and fix tagging issues

• Project manage multiple requests and project activities at any one time

• Collaboration with John Lewis Online Product teams and IT community

What you'll have: 

• Advanced JavaScript, JQuery and JSON skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML, DOM, and events

• Understanding of web protocols

• Experience working with data – scraping data, data manipulation, regular expressions, etc.

•  Clear communicator, strong verbal and written skills

• Ability to prioritize workflow and handle multiple, competing and changing priorities

• Ability to perform effectively without supervision and within established time limits and ongoing deadlines

• Analytical skills – demonstrable experience of gathering business requirements, developing appropriate analysis and delivery of actionable results
