The Analyst, IT Strategy, Planning, and Performance is responsible for supporting the IT Governance & Effectiveness team leadership in driving a more effective enterprise IT Operating and Delivery model enabled by the right level of IT Governance. The incumbent will be involved in supporting key activities such as Business Reviews, Executive/Board level updates, employee engagement and communication efforts through interactions with diverse group of stakeholders ranging from senior leadership to working level team members. He/she will also support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the IT Branch Management Operating system to stablish a framework to ensure the work done by the IT Branch is performed effectively so that desired outcomes are achieved.

This position will report to the Director, IT Governance & Effectiveness. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing Executive presentations and Board level communication
  • Support the monthly Business Review process by collaborating with members of the senior leadership team to report on and track accomplishments, short-term plan, and risk/concerns/issues 
  • Responsible for tracking and analyzing the IT Branch and Shared Services team performance by supporting the creation and leading the maintenance of scorecards/reports
  • Support employee engagement and communication efforts through involvement in onboarding sessions, creating of Town Hall presentations, organizing training and development events, running employee pulse surveys, organizing special events (e.g. All IT Annual meetings, leadership off-sites, etc.) and maintaining the IT SharePoint site
  • Support the IT Governance & Effectiveness team leadership in reviewing and improving cross functional IT Processes to ensure alignment to IT Industry Best Practices
  • Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of a standard IT Management Operating System that helps plan, execute, report on and deliver expected business value and outcomes
  • Support implementing adjustments to IT Service Delivery Model and IT Organization to ensure maximum value and efficiency for organization
  • Provide backup/assistance to the Manager, IT Effectiveness & Management Operating System on key activities 
  • Identify and help escalate issues to ensure appropriate resolution

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of IT technology or operations experience in a large company 
  • A relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role
  • Working knowledge of ITIL, COBIT and LEAN principles
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. 
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure against tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent worker with a drive for quality and continuous improvement 
  • Possess investigative nature and be self-motivated
  • Results oriented with proactive and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Must be a team player with ability to work closely with diverse groups and working styles
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders 
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, when required
