Our finance team are at the very heart of our company, helping us manage and report on how we're performing and to budget correctly for all parts of the business. But it's not all about numbers, a big part of the job is about engaging with colleagues across the company; helping them to understand our commercial focus and where we're headed.

To enable us to achieve our vision, we are currently recruiting a FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic Finance Team!

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Assist with the accurate and timely production of monthly financial reporting including financial accounting, cash flow, balance sheet & ledger reconciliations;
  • Prepare monthly performance scorecards for Productivity, Purchasing & Pricing using PowerBI;
  • Assist with the preparation of detailed company and cost centre budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure strict compliance with Group and Regional reporting requirements
  • Develop expertise and be systems owner for business intelligence and financial reporting tools and applications;
  • Assist the Manager - Finance & Performance to ensure operational success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual and operational requirements;
  • Analyse and interpret business performance/results, providing high quality information and feedback to Senior Management;
  • Managing P&Ls of Above-Unit cost centres through tight controlling of General Ledger postings & Balance Sheet reconciliations;
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and streamlining of existing financial processes and workflows.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Financial Accounting;
  • Accounting Degree and CA fully/partially qualified;
  • Sound technical and analytical skills;
  • Highly Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with management information business intelligence tools and applications such as Microsoft Power BI;
  • Solid Accounting knowledge and ability to provide clear to understand Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

  • will be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
  • will need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check.
  • will need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status.
