About this role
This Job Matters as you’ll be responsible design, implement and lead highest quality governance for Corporate Unit and its various Digital Transformation programs teams. You’ll work with CU Transformation Senior Manager and ensure that the governance policies are aligned to the goals and objectives of Corporate unit & its functions.
The successful candidate will also be accountable for implementing the governance structure across Corporate Unit, drive governanance and publish dashboards & reports and act as a key advicer to CIO/CDO level executives on governance matters along with areas of interventions
You'll have the following responsibilities
Lead planning, direction, execution, and monitoring of day-to-day activities related to central Transformation processes in Corporate unit.
Drive adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards. Supports stakeholders as governance subject-matter-expert.
Monitors reports to ensure appropriate process steps are followed by stakeholders.
Track and support applicable queues and ensure appropriate actions are completed.
Performs quality reviews of stakeholder delivered documentations and coordinates with Transformation/ Business leads to ensure that the provided documentation is sufficient to meet governance requirements.
Updates charter, process and/or procedure documents when required. Maintains and/or update applicable logs and/or databases to reflect approved decisions, and/or status changes.
Manages and maintains recordkeeping documentation to ensure an audit ready environment. Supports the preparation and maintenance of progress and status reports.
Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.
Escalates program risks to CIO/CDO/Senior Leadership when appropriate. Works with CIO’s/Transformation Leads to capture the business goals, targets & milestones and align the governance processes.
Responsible for creating a process for capturing, structuring and analysing of performance data across the Corporate Unit and governance cycles from the functions supported.
Track, analyse trends and share insights with progress, achievements/misses, areas of interventions to leadership team.
Suggests improvements in process & tools and supports best practise in governance of transformation projects.
Establishing Key operational governance to drive the unit’s performance. Providing insight to understand current performance, outlook performance and areas of improvement with particular emphasis on.
Champion data accuracy across various tools and be also able to work out in improvisation of tools landscape within CU.
Work with management team on process definition, promotion, and governance required to meet KPI objectives and goals.
Drives continuous improvement and culture of high performance through strategic programs, advocating for and effecting behavioural and process change across the organisation by influencing decision makers and inspiring and motivating others to adopt new ways of working.
Enhance core structures, governance, and ways of working from an end-to-end perspective working across squads, tribes, CU leadership whilst not disrupting in flight delivery programs.
Developing key hypotheses for interventions for addressing issues and continuous improvement.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Ability to develop strong, collaborative working relationships across the business to drive delivery of the Corporate Unit commitments.
Ability to work across the Corporate unit functions and wider business to ensure we fulfil the function's medium to long term vision.
Stakeholder management skills as role holder is required to influence across multiple teams in Corporate unit.
Identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement.
You contribute as a subject matter expert or content owner.
Strong understanding of goals and works within finacial envelopes.
Requires analytical skills, solid mathematics and problem solving backgrounds, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint & MS Word.
Must demonstrate an exceptional work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a good working knowledge of the Digital lifecycle.
Must be able to work with a diverse team supporting multiple stakeholders, often with differences in priorities, to establish clear, attainable KPIs and project plans to achieve optimized outcomes.
Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment with excellent communication skills, both oral and written along with analytical skills.
Must be a team player able to work professionally and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Lean Agile delivery practices with awareness of major frameworks (i.e. SAFe, Kanban) with the ability to measure team with Agile Metrices.
Industry standard qualifications in Agile Leadership (i.e. Leading SAFe, SAFe POPM) and Scrum Mastering (i.e. CSM).
Storytelling with data: Strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences, senior leadership, and engineering team members.
