About this role
This job will ensure that people side of the change on the Agile methodology is handled well so that the change is embraced faster to accelerate our goals for the Digital world and staying ahead in the market. It is a critical role as BT is embracing the digital ways of working and coaching of people at this juncture will ensure they understand and willing adopt it
You'll have the following responsibilities
Work at a strategic level to define an Agile Transformation Journey and create a roadmap.
Advise and assist in integrating an Agile development process with existing processes.
Create a Training Plan and deliver training to the leadership teams.
Set up an Agile Centre of Excellence to promote best practices and lead the transformation.
Facilitate the selection of the first Agile team of teams to transform.
Create a sustainable Agile capability within the organisation to reduce reliance on external coaching.
Set standards for the healthy application of Agile practices across the whole organisation.
Help to recruit and select the right people for the key roles.
Champion the change within organisation, cultural change, focusing the organisation on business outcomes.
Mentoring, Coaching, Training, guiding the change process, developing leadership in others and guiding organisational agility. Facilitates the overall organisational transition providing ongoing support to agile projects and leadership.
Delivers consultancy and conducts analysis for projects, identifying and implementing opportunities for simplification, efficiency and enhancement to deliver business process improvements, customer satisfaction, cost reduction and revenue growth.
Conducts testing of processes against agreed specifications, corporate standards, architecture and methods, and makes recommendations for process / procedural improvement.
Applies business process management tools, techniques and methodologies to evaluate existing processes and effectively deliver business process improvements.
Coordinates the training of others in various business improvement models, following up with coaching as necessary ensure sustainment of new approach.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Systems thinking - You provide technical expertise to evaluate the impacts and links between structure, people, process and technology.
You think through the whole systems context, new perspectives and insight before taking on projects.
Ability to develop strong, collaborative working relationships across the business to drive delivery of the Group IT commitments.
Ability to work across the Group IT functions and wider business to ensure we fulfil the function's medium to long term vision.
Stakeholder management skills as role holder is required to influence across multiple teams in Group IT.
Negotiation skills as role holder will be required to influence outcomes that optimise the Group IT Operations.
Identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement.
You contribute as a subject matter expert or content owner.
Strong coaching and communication skills to handle and communicate in different situation
