Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Project Management and/or technology experience at a digital agency.
  • Experience with usability, accessibility, and cross-browser issues.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Python, Django, and Google App Engine.
  • Knowledge of coding and design best practices.
  • Understanding of web security concepts, and ability to communicate requirements to others.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

About the job

Developer Marketing is focused on driving the success of Google's developer platforms, such as Android, Google Assistant, AR/VR, and others, by delivering global, scalable programs, events and creative marketing campaigns to engage software engineers and developers. You will have a passion for innovative software technology and an understanding of how developers use our APIs and tools to achieve business growth. Working closely with other product marketing managers, engineers, designers, and others to own, drive, and execute a wide range of marketing initiatives.

The Agency Technical Liaison (ATL) team consists of technical program managers who partner with internal project/program owners and external agencies. We provide technical guidance on launching interactive experiences for Marketers who do not have access to dedicated engineering resources.

Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing agencies to help launch interactive experiences for Google.
  • Be the primary point of contact for Google’s rostered Agency Technical teams and technical point of contact for Google’s product marketing managers.
  • Assess and triage incoming requests from marketers, help agencies understand our technical and security requirements, help both agencies and marketers navigate our security, privacy and code review processes, and ensure that our interactive experiences launch safely, securely, and snag-free.
  • Define the team’s charter, making changes to processes and tools to support the work.
