Our OD&C team is looking for an Advisor - Organisational Development and Capability to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is a great opportunity to build exceptional culture and capability that enables our people to thrive.  

You will contribute to growing organisational capability supporting leadership, values, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, as well as a range of 'people' projects that ensure Kāinga Ora is a great place to work for our people, by leveraging our strengths and differences to better meet our customers' needs.

Over the past two years, we have focused on designing and developing our OD&C frameworks.  Now the exciting work begins, with our focus shifting to implementation, activation and integration of our OD&C frameworks, to turn great ideas into accessible, easy and relevant tools and practice for our people.

Note - while we would prefer the roles to be based in Wellington or Auckland, we are open to considering locations outside of these centres, so if you'd like to discuss location further, please let us know. 

Take the opportunity to apply your: 

  • Experience in a similar or related role 
  • Up to date understanding of current OD&C principles and models and able to apply these in the work situation
  • Familiarity with a range of current OD&C practices
  • Experience in a Capability advisory role or similar role which includes supporting, developing, delivering, implementing and evaluation of OD & Capability activities and frameworks 
  • Programme management experience
  • Knowledge and application of technical systems and authoring tools 
  • Ability to think outside the box, finding new ways to do thing
  • Speak up when you think there's a better way
  • Respond to changing circumstances by being agile and adaptable
