About the Role - Permanent

As Administration Support - Office Manager, you're the beating heart of our organisation, with competence across all spheres of administrative, operational and logistics support.

About You

Reporting to Business Enablement Capability Lead, you are a natural problem solver, adept at thinking on your feet and working collaboratively with others to keep the wheels turning. You are well organised and proactive, with an eye for detail, and are curious and keen to develop new skills.

As a key contact for our Auckland based staff, you're across all the moving parts in the Textile Centre.  This role provides huge variety and scope for growth and no day is the same. The Textile Centre is home to research scientists, customer engagement, communications, programme and insights specialists, numerous executives and hosts numerous events for external stakeholders.

You are adept at time management enabling you to deliver to deadlines. You are digitally savvy, familiar with a variety of digital tools including google suite, Trello, JIRA, Miro. Be a positive team player, willing to learn skills and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional organisational skills, proactive multitasker, master of process and collaboration
  • Have an eye for detail and strive to deliver quality
  • Be a positive team player and deliverer of great support services
  • Be confident engaging with a variety of people
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal and external business networks and partners
  • Be digitally savvy, preferred experience with Google, Trello, JIRA as well as quick to learn other tools and applications as required
  • Experience with diary management, event coordination, travel bookings
  • Experience in large busy office environments
  • Understanding of financial transactions and systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to step outside of your comfort zone, show initiative embrace change and opportunities to grow
