The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Activities Co-ordinator in Bromley.

• Location: Baycroft Grays Farm Road, Bromley, BR5 3AD
• Salary: £22,568 per annum
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week (7 day flexible rota) this will include every other weekend

Your duties will include

• Developing and overseeing an active living programme for each resident, which supports mobility, social contact, independence and fun.
• Collaborating with the nursing and senior staff to make an assessment of strengths and capabilities of each resident in regards to activities of daily living.
• Ensuring that any risk assessments have been carried out prior to any new planned activity or event.
• Devising simple and safe activities which encourage movement and maintain joint flexibility and functional use of hands and fingers in activities.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is
positive and friendly. The successful candidate will:

• Previous experience developing engaging and creative activity plans
• Will ideally have previous experience working in an adult care setting
• NVQ in Health and Social Care (Desirable)
