A dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for an Senior Accounts Payable (A/P) Lead. The job site for the permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the North York, Ontario area and is hyrid work schedule.

Major responsibilities

- Complete full-cycle A/P

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

- Carry out additional projects as required

- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

- Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

- General familiarity with enterprise software

- Payable Invoices experience preferred

- Aging Reports experience preferred

- Demonstrated knowledge of Expense Reconciliation

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

- Reconcile Vendor Statements experience

- Deep understanding of wire transfer
