Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that offers an invigorating work environment among a team of motivated professionals. The candidate's responsibilities in this role include attending to the general needs of the AP/Finance Department, while working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. Your responsibilities in this role

- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

- Assist with internal and external audits as needed

- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

- Carry out additional projects as required

- Produce full-cycle A/

Requirements

- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

- High attention to detail

- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience required

- Foundational knowledge in Coding

- Matching 401 experience highly desired

- Adeptness in Enter Vendor Invoices

- Solid understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

- Numeric data entry experience

- 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
