Description

Our client in the food industry is looking for a sharp Accounts Payable individual to assist them through a transition (Immediate need). As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match and batch code, resolve A/P issue and other ad-hoc tasks. You will have experience working in the food manufacturing industry, or have worked in a fast-paced environment. As it is a paper driven environment, the you will be organized and take ownership of the tasks and responsibilities assigned, and not be afraid to ask for help when asked. You will report to the Controller.

In addition to the above, other tasks include:

• 3 way matching

• coding on invoice

• other ad-hoc tasks as assignment

Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting, Business or similar

• 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

• Proficient in MS Excel

• Highly organized, detail oriented, have a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
