Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. The candidate in this role will work closely with and report to the Accounting Manager. Other responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department,. The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. What you get to do every day

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

- Manage full-cycle A/P

- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

- Help with internal and external audits as required

- Carry out additional projects as required

Requirements

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

- Comprehensive knowledge of dynamics

- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
