What you will do

UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven recent graduate to join our team at our Corporate HQ in Rowville (Victoria). This is a key supporting role within the Finance team reporting to the Finance Manager.

As the Accounts Officer you will be responsible for all Accounts Payable requirements within a multi-currency environment, including credit card and bank reconciliations within the ERP system.

Who you are

We are looking for a recently tertiary-qualified (in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or similar) team player with up to 12 months' bookkeeping experience.

The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:

Process and payment of all invoices, expense claims and credit card payments on a timely & accurate basis

Reconcile supplier statements

Prompt and accurate balancing and posting of all receipts

Generate customer sales invoices and statements

Assist in balance sheet reconciliations

You are a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and methodically – bringing knowledge and skills such as:-

Basic to Intermediate Excel skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar small-medium accounting software (preferred, but not essential)

Automated Accounts Payable Process experience (advantageous)

FX currency understanding (experience would be advantageous)

Sound problem solving logic

You will possess key qualities such as:-
