Our Company is on the hunt for a Accounts Clerk to join our rapidly growing business. The role will suit an Accounting or Finance student who is a quick leaner and demonstrates excellent attention to detail.

Reporting to the Admin & Systems Manager you will be based at our Mount Eden brewery site with responsibilities that include:

• Inputting sales orders and processing credits notes.
• Weekly payroll processing.
• Reconciling transactions in Xero.
• Handling weekly cash banking from our 6 bars, investigating cash discrepancies and seeking explanations as needed.
• Updating online products in Shopify, and ensuring these products are paired with our inventory system.
• Liaising with major customers such as New World and Countdown via their supplier portals.
• Assisting with the Accounts Receivable process to ensure customers pay on time.
• Responding to customer queries via email and phone.
• Maintaining stock in our inventory management systems, assisting with stocktakes, uploading stocktakes weekly and informing the managers of variances
• Ensuring POS systems are correctly set up, adding new lines and deleting old ones.
• Assisting in the preparation of accounts, management reports and operational KPIs.  

We estimate you will initially need to work around 20 hours per week, with additional hours available, and the scope for the successful candidate to grow this into a full-time role.

We want someone that is not only good with numbers, but great with people. The perfect candidate would be open to working in all parts of the business: keen to do a bar shift if needed, jump onto the packaging line, or help organise an event.
