Description
Our client, a publicly listed manufacturer in Richmond B.C. is looking for a Controller.
This Controller will oversee a small team while doing the full cycle accounting duties of the company, consolidate financial information, oversee tax functions, manage operational data and develop systems controls. The Controller will manage a team, liaise with stakeholders and assist with budget preparations.
Requirements
Requirements of the role are:
-CPA designations with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing and 10 years + of finance and accounting in a large complex organization
-Management and mentorship
-Experience with GAAP
-Self-starter attitude with the ability to think critically
-Proficiency in Excel
-Strong decision making skills
