Serving in this role, you will be responsible for multiple forms of data entry, matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, and playing an integral role in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). How you will make an impact

- Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of an array of sources

- General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

- Post financial information to journals and ledgers

- Square up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

- Group documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

- Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

- Support Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

Requirements

- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended

- Outstanding data entry skills

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
