We are looking for an awesome Accountant to join our growing public practice team alongside other entrepreneurial and commercially minded rockstars. This permanent, full-time opportunity plays a key role in BlueRock's success and allows you to partner with some of Melbourne's coolest entrepreneurial business owners.

What you'll be doing:

Working with a diverse range of clients on everything from:

Tax planning and general advice

Financial modelling

Attend client meetings with senior members of your team

From a compliance point of view, you will play a role in our team to ensure our clients meet compliance and tax obligations, including:

Preparing financial statements and income tax returns

Preparing and lodging BASs, IAS, FBT Returns

Preparing and assisting clients with other statutory obligations such as payroll tax and Workcover

Requirements

We want to hear from people who have:

1-3 years experience with a mid-tier firm working with SME's

A degree qualification and CA completion (or near completion)

Strong written communication skills including providing technical advice

Excellent problem solving skills and exposure to financial modelling engagements including budgeting, cashflow forecasting and valuations

Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills

A demonstrated ability to think holistically and tailor their approach to client need
