Exciting oppitunity to join a leading company in the Media industry. Our client is expanding and looking for an Assistant Account or Accountant for a 12 month contract based in Sydney CBD.

The team is vibrant, high preforming and this role could be a gate way to new oppitunities.

Monthly Accounting

• Prepare various adhoc month-end journals and accruals
• Collate balance sheet reconciliations from team for Manager review
• Maintenance of the Fixed asset registers including book and tax ledgers
• Prepare Joint Venture Payable monthly journals and quarterly reporting

• Assist with internal and external audits

Job Requirements Technical

• Studying towards or recently completed CA or CPA
• Strong excel skills
• Strong skills in ERP system (JDE preferred

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as the ability to present ideas and problem solving effectively to varying groups of people.
