As a dedicated Account Manager for Schools at thisislanguage.com you’ll be responsible for making sure that clients are kept up to date about new features, renew their subscriptions and have all the training they need to make sure that they are getting the most use out of our platform.
You’ll need to create long term relationships with teachers, be their point of contact and become a product expert. You'll want to build your region and client base through referrals, testimonials and upgrades, and to support the Customer Success Manager in ensuring all clients are using the site to its full potential and become product ambassadors.
# Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that each of the schools in your portfolio are getting the most value out of thisislanguage.com
- Onboarding new clients
- Scheduling quarterly check-in with clients
- Taking full responsibility for the renewal process for each client
- Being CRM savvy: keep school data up to date
- Identifying new business opportunities through referrals and area mapping
- Identifying potential ‘unhealthy accounts’ and work with the Customer Success Manager to bring them back to life
- Relationship mapping - understand the roles of all stakeholders and who is the best contact to interact with on each level within a school or MAT
- Growing a network of key accounts and contacts

- Able to create long-term, trusting relationships with teachers
- Fully understand your portfolio; including MAT’s, local and regional events and postcode hotspots
- Passionate about building your portfolio and working with the New Sales Reps to hit saturation targets
- Friendly and focused written communication
- Personable
- Able to deliver clear and concise training in person and virtually
- Excellent at building relationships with key contacts including NQT’s, HoD’s, event organisers and industry leaders.
