Account Manager - Medical Devices - Gold Coast

Our client is a leading medical devices company that manufactures medical device products including smart beds, patient monitoring systems and cardiology products. Due to a recent promotion, we require an experienced Account Manager with a background in clinical medical device sales. Previous experience focusing on critical care is preferred. This position is a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving company with exceptional products.

ROLE/DESCRIPTION

Outstanding opportunity for a proven Account manager to work with a leading Medical Devices company focusing on acute medical equipment sales. We need a tech savvy rep who is comfortable and experienced working in the ED and Intensive Care environment.

The role focuses on the sale of Smart Beds, Patient Monitoring Systems and Diagnostics Cardiology limited to ECG products. A strong focus on connectivity is essential and therefore the most suitable Account Manager will be comfortable dealing with Biomedical Engineers and tech support.

As Account Manager, you will work closely with medical staff and will become an expert in your product portfolio. The most suitable Account Manager will have strong medical device sales experience in the critical care setting. This role is ideal for someone who has previous Nursing experience and exposure to the product portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years in a sales role within medical devices
• Must be comfortable within critical care environment
• Previous Nursing or clinical experience is highly regarded
• Experience managing high value tenders within hospitals and healthcare providers
• Exposure to ED and Intensive Care sales is highly favourable
• Understanding of QLD Health and strong relevant contact base
• Ability to analyse territory and maximize potential sales opportunities
• Some interstate travel is required and must hold a valid driver's license as this role requires driving within territory
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences desirable
