The Account Executive is the owner of a few select customer relationships and we are looking to grow our team. We are seeking an experienced, quota carrying sales performer who is looking to focus their skills to drive the effective use of technology for social benefit by the UK’s largest educational organisations, both private and public, for profit or not-for-profit.
This key role is responsible for energetically championing Salesforce's solutions to high profile institutions and for the acquisition of new customers within these complex organisations. If you have a passion for technology and an interest in how it can facilitate positive social change, combined with large organization/enterprise technology sales experience, we want to talk with you.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of a strategic sales plan to effectively and efficiently cover the account(s) within the assigned territory.

  • Manage lead qualification and conversion from interested prospects.

  • Aggressively prospect and generate new relationships within the strategic accounts.

  • Consulting with and advising large, strategic Salesforce Customers resulting in increased adoption, success and Enterprise wide deployments.

  • Create a unified sales team using a variety of pre-sales resources, to expand our footprint within an account and demonstrate high impact value with our technology

  • Travel, as required, to prospects, customers or marketing events throughout the UK (30-50% travel).

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in software sales.

  • Track record of success in CRM or related business application sales

  • A passion for non-profit and Education.

  • 5+ years experience in Non-Profit or Public Sector preferred.

  • Detailed knowledge of and passion for SaaS applications

  • Strong technical background. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate an internal multi-disciplinary team in a matrix environment

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.

  • Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
