Description

Robert Half is working with a client in Burlington to assist them in finding a 3D Inventor Detailer or Designer to join them for an initial 3 month contract, with potential to extend. This role provides the opportunity for full time work hours for the duration of the contract. The client is currently working remotely, but will transition to an in office setting in April.

What you'll be doing:

• Work with Inventor to produce 3D drawings for:

1. Heavy industrial automated machinery
2. Gearbox / chain drive sizing
3. Bushing design and fits
4. Bearing sizing and fits

• Modify existing drawings
• Check drawings for accuracy
• Participate in drawing review meetings as needed

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience working with Inventor
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Previous experience with 3D Designs in Inventor
• Must have a solid understanding of weld specification, especially with plates up to 125mm thickness
• Knowledge of standard machining capabilities and finishes, milling/turning
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial machines working within a complex process with poor maintenance
• ACAD layout skills are beneficial
