I am a creative and driven person, and I dream of a career in Copywriting. Over the past seven years, I have worked in retail; this has given me confidence and social skills, and has made me more personable.
During this time, I have graduated with a BA in Creative Writing and Journalism, as well as a Masters degree in Writing for Creative and Professional Practice. These degrees taught me how to write for different purposes, audiences, and platforms. Although I have no real world experience (other than an unpaid week with a newspaper), I feel that my education has given me the skills I need to succeed as a Copywriter.

My main responsibility in this role is to aid customers with their shopping experience. I also stock shelves, and merchandise the store in an enticing way. Every day, I am able to converse with a variety of people, and learn how to communicate with all sorts of personalities. I have received a badge for my customer service skills, and I regularly receive compliments from customers and colleagues for my ability to converse with others.
