I aspire to have a strong instructional base for decision-making and refine my craft through cultural awareness, content knowledge, self-awareness, and pedagogical knowledge. My student-centered teaching philosophy includes a concept and inquiry-based learning experience with a differentiation approach and an emphasis on a growth mindset, open-mindedness, and international mindedness along with inculcating life-long learning through the nourishment of the student’s inherent curiosity and focusing on cognitive development. I believe in agency and developing independent, motivated, and self-regulated learners who take ownership of their learning and turn it into action.
