You are a Yard Worker who is responsible for the daily flow of material including accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You are responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of a lay down yard. You make certain that the Yard is a safe and clean space, and you assist with stock management, and maintenance on equipment and fleet vehicles.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Verifies incoming and outgoing materials
• Administers inventory control and order selection
• Oversees opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Supports with the daily upkeep of the yard including organizing stock and yard maintenance
• Supports shipping and receiving activities
• Operates forklifts and lifts heavy items (up to 40 lbs.)
• Drives to client yards to collect materials
• Builds and maintains relationships with field teams
• Administers inventory control and order selection
• Monitors yard activities ensuring that proper processes are followed

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Warehouse/Yard work experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Experience in establishing relationships with various levels of an organization
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, MS Teams
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to communicate effectively and independently
• Forklift Operator Certification is required
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements and a Security Clearance Process
• 1-2 years of industry experience, preferably in an outdoor/yard environment
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, paired with a positive attitude
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record (unless you have a legitimate recognized medical or religious reason for not getting vaccinated)

Work Conditions:

• This role requires working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
• Travel required up to 50% of the time
