We are on the lookout for 2 Full-Time Yards Person to be based in our Grenada and Lower Hutt Depots.

About the role

The Yard is your office! You will be responsible for the safety, presentation, and movements of the vehicles within the yard. You will be a self-starter, level-headed under pressure and enjoy the outdoors.The Yard team's work is integral to keeping the wheels turning for the public. If you are a positive team player, who enjoys contributing to the positive culture of your organization, then this could be for you!

You will be responsible for:

Ensuring vehicles are fueled and presented in a clean and tidy condition, ensuring those hubs shine! Carrying out regular checks of buses and ensuring they are maintined in accordance to the set standards and fleet safety requirements. Undertaking general duties around the depot, as requested.

To be successful you should have:

• The ability to be on your feet and on the move!
• Ability to work on a 7-day shift roster.
• Class 2 Drivers licence. Ability to gain a P Endorsement preferred but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with a team of diverse people.
• Strong work ethic and strict adherence to Health and Safety policies.
