Toll Global Logistics are seeking proactive, energetic Workshop Manager to oversee the workshop performance for our Port Hedland and Karratha workshops. Leading up to 15 people, this role will manage overall workshop performance, compliance, quality, and team culture.

Based either in Port Hedland or Karratha, this role will play a key role is driving a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement, ensuring little equipment down time and high customer satisfaction. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact within the workshop, and step up into a management role within Toll Group.

As the Workshop Manager, you will:

  • Ensure personal and operational performance KPI's are met by establishing work systems to allow team members to work together and individually at a high level. 
  • Be responsible for inventory balance sheets, stock levels, cost recovery and maximising profitability.
  • Anticipate customer needs and maintain effective communication to assist in vehicle downtime, and manage the customer liaison process. 
  • Comply with all HSE responsibilities, including Toll Group policies, legislative requirements and business management systems are adhered to.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Australian recognized trade qualification i.e Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic, Heavy Automotive Mechanic or equivalent or Operational Background
  • A natural team player with the ability to communicate with people at various levels, internally and externally.
  • The ability to inspire confidence, coach and manage others to meet Toll standards
