About the Role

  • Conduct visual audits of bin contents to identify and report any incidents of contamination to Waste Coordinator.
  • Respond to “on call” requests from around the site for services and be able to prioritise these requests accordingly.
  • Have an interest and knowledge regarding the various recycling streams found in a health setting.
  • Comply to the policy and procedures regarding handling of clinical and related waste.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner using DECT phones, emails, and in person with all departments throughout the site.
