We have an open role for Warehouse Worker - Heavy Loads - Forklift Operator

60% Forklift 40% General Warehouse Work

About Us:

Our company is a large sized master trader of non-ferrous products including aluminum & stainless steel, in all shapes & forms. We pride ourselves on innovation, efficiency and management resulting in providing our clients with quality products at competitive prices. We currently have three strategically located facilities in Canada & the USA which carry standard stock of aluminum coils, sheets, plates, extrusions, and stainless-steel sheets.

Responsibilities:

•  Assembling and processing orders
• Assist in Emptying / Filling Containers
•  Assist in Packing and repacking
•  Operating the forklift
•  Coordinating with other departments (sales, logistics, accounting etc.)
•  Keeping track of inventory
•  Heavy materials lifting from time to time
•  Assists in keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Perform other duties as required by the direct supervisor

Requirements:

• Poses basic computer skills
• 1-2 years of working experience in a warehouse
• Punctual, dedicated, and hardworking
•  Able to drive a forklift – Has forklift license
•  Able to communicate in English or French
•  Experience in management and in coordination is an asset
