Job Description

At Toll Group we are currently seeking expression of interest for our Warehouse Supervisor positions with locations across all of Melbourne. We have warehouses in the following locations - Laverton, Truganina, Altona, Dandenong, and Somerton.

As a Warehouse Supervisor your role will be to direct, coordinate and meet service objectives for the customer. You will also be responsible for leading the warehouse team to ensure outstanding results are achieved whilst driving a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage warehousing activities and ensure work is performed safely
• Drive a strong safety culture and safety initiatives across the warehouse
• Building and promoting a team environment that works collaboratively
• Identify continuous improvements and encourage an innovative culture
• Manage daily labour against requirements and projects
• Ensure customer expectations are met and managed accordingly

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Flexible to work various hours in line with operational requirements – will be required to work weekends on a rotational bases
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience training, coaching and mentoring a team
• Strong customer service focus
• Experience working in a warehouse, preferably 3PL will be highly regarded
